How to prevent children being bombarded with overtly sexual images and products is the subject of a new inquiry.
The government may ask shops to sign up to a code of conduct which would prevent them selling inappropriate items such as suggestive underwear for pre-teens.
Yeah but how can you tell if its something for pre-teens or just really small?
Because pre-teen girls can just go to the older section for the same sizes.
I can fit into 12/14 or 14/16 in boys polos at walmart and a size 6 in jeans. My underwear is hella tiny, should they just stop selling them in those sizes and hope small people get fatter?
Cut-out bras and panties what have snappy saying written on them like "Eat Here" would be considered "suggestive underwear." Honestly Txtqueen, the fact that you can't discern what would be inappropriate, give me worry about the children in your care.
The fact is that it's not the preteen girls buying it, it's the parents buying it. Doing stuff like that isn't going to change anything because the stuff will just get purchased online. The best thing you can do is tell your daughter no.
