We're in whole house shaking mode - my computer is even shaking! Our sustaining winds are in the 40's. Hope it doesn't reach down there and hopefully it calms down before your daughter heads home. On the flip side, it's already 55 degrees!

Wow that was an 8.9 earthquake. That's massive. Even by Japanese standards. They're expecting a tsunami in Hawaii and California. Crazy.

The news I saw on Yahoo said it already hit Hawaii. Not good. They at least had a heads up.

Ew - I hate the wind. I don't know how people live in places that are constantly windy. I'm one of those that would go crazy.

I'm hoping to have a low key day today. Been a super busy week and several things we've been focused on are out of our hands now....I'm going to take my time this morning then leave by 3 or so....and haven't decided whether I need to go in Monday or not. I'll just see how it goes.

Thanks! I am looking forward to it. She and DH may go skiing tomorrow - we have some passes to Loveland that need to be used pretty quickly....She enjoys skiing but has bad knees so 1/2 day is usually fine for her....since the passes were only around $20 that's still a pretty good deal. DS had his first regular season lacrosse game yesterday and scored a goal! Yay!

Thanks FR....that Virgo "quirkiness" (LOL) gets to me and I cause myself more stress than anyone could cause for me. Actually though my stressful part ended yesterday morning. The rest of the day was just lots of work to do.

I just keep watching the news....and checking email...my company has offices in Hawaii and Japan....so we are of course keeping mindful of our employees there as well as everyone else.

I was wondering if the tsunami would reach California. At least there is enough warning to get people out. When do they think it will hit?
