Here are some fun little geography quizzes. I could only get 6/10 on the 1st one:

C is for City

I also only got 6/10 .......embarrassingly enough, I actually lived in one of the cities I missed. I guess it never occured to me that it was large enough to consider...

Because of the timing, I'll have to wait on the others until I am at a real keyboard not a touchpad LOL

txtqueen---it's time to rethink your attachment to technology. Not having cell phone service is no reason to go back to living where you have no future.

zimbo -- I missed three only got 7/10 on the first one. I only got two of Will Hunting's brothers. I would have gotten more if I had put Y's at the end of many of them that I tried. Fun site! Thanks for sharing!

Hopes txt can have a future anywhere......she must be willing to make the sacrifices necessary and actually be proactive and determined and follow up all the big talk with action. She'll need to do that no matter where she lives.

I got 12/12 on borderlines. I think I'll stop while I'm finally ahead!

You're right, MM. I just can't get over the dependence on technology. But that's just a small part of her problems in her overall issues.

OK - 100% on the states that end in "a" and missed one on states that start with "m" - mainly because I spent time screwing up the spelling of one state in particular and couldn't get it to take...

I know it's frustrating...but it doesn't matter if you live in NYC or in Podunk, you're not going to be a police officer if you won't even apply to the academy. Same reason, I can sit all day and dream about winning the lottery but in the end all it is is dreaming - you can't win if you don't play.

Oh, I didn't see those quizzes. I'd do better on states than cities. I have the same problem with spelling slowing me down, but the quizzes are fun.

My knowledge of local geography is excellent; I could draw you a picture of most cities and towns in the area and all the freeways connecting them. My knowledge of US geography is lacking, especially stuff on the east coast. At one point I learned it all in school but I never have to recall that info in real life so I'm super rusty.

My spelling is also terrible!
