This is so unfair and teaches our young men to be bigots. This kid successfully accomplished all the requirements for this prestigious award and was led on to think his leader would sign all the necessary paperwork.

My son used to be very proud of his Eagle Scout status proudly displaying it on his resume but now he says , especially in his scientific field, it only embarrasses him. There were known gay guys in troupe and 1 suspected leader but it didn't concern anybody. Gay men do not recruit boys to "turn" gay. Gay men and pedophiles are not the same. I no longer support BSA and my son is one of hundreds who have shipped their awards back to BSA vehemently opposing what BSA has come to stand for.
