You are not listening, they won't fit her after 6 months, how will this gift possibly last "a few years"?

I have, and they told me not to get them. SO.I.WILL.GET.SOMETHING.ELSE. Forget the Uggs, I am not getting her Uggs anymore. I am looking for other gift ideas like I stated in the last few posts.

I am not getting Uggs for her, but I will say that she has a younger sister. So that is how it would "last a few years".

When do you plan to have children of your own?

When I'm out of college, found a suitable partner, and have a steady job.

This kind of thing should not be encouraged. It is awful.

How often does said cousin come to your place? If often enough buy them & she can wear them at your place.l I had the same problem with my nephew. Parents thought a bike would make him lazy & he would not learn to walk, I bought him a bike that he rides when he comes over here. So he walks over there & rides over here. Everyone is happy!

A child who has not yet learned walk is able to ride a bicycle?

Regardless, you don't overrule the decision of the parents. Period.

I am glad that you are not going against the wishes of the parent.

If someone bought one of my children something that I said told them NOT to buy, I would be far more than just "pissed off". That person may just be "cut off" from a future relationship with my child.
