Your post was entitled:

Give me one logical, rational reason anyone should conceive a child

If I told someone "Give me one logical, reason anyone should XXXXXX" anyone with half a brain knows I've made my mind up on the subject already.

You asked if I was spontaneous in the context of procreation. It struck me as funny to think about baby-making as a leisure activity.

That is completely nuts! No pun intended.

So now you can really run back and report to your peeps "hey my research is correct! It's neither logical nor rational! And I suspect the sun will rise in the east tomorrow too!"

Anyone with a brain would listen instead of judging. Good luck with that.

Great, because you don't get to know the answer means there isn't one.

Here's one you can add. I hope that we continue to outnumber you. That humans in the future keep their parenting rights and people like you die off childless and with less ability to influence others.

I have not advocated taking anyone's parenting rights away. I have only asked if you think procreation is logical or rational, to which most of you have responded "no, it isn't."

And despite your best efforts to not answer the question because of your bias, you actually did come up with a new answer: Having a child increases your ability to influence the world around you.

Nope. I didn't do that either.

Strike two.

You asked if I was spontaneous in a thread that is solely about procreation, DDI!

You haven't touched a nerve with me. I've posted on here too many times to be bothered by a question like this.

Actually I made a wry observation (cloaked in the form of a question) about your obvious approach to life. The very fact that you narrowed the field of your inquiry with your opening question and dismissed anyone who attempted to give a (here's that word again) spontaneous response shows you aren't.

So, sorry but it's a called third strike. But, lucky you, I shall spontaneously depart this thread. The thread about the child with the cable box in his bed is MUCH more interesting.
