We already have FMLA, an extension of that is inevitable in the next few years, regardless of how you, personally, feel about it.

Once more, your OPINIONS, are not facts.

The fact that we have moved into an evil collectivist mindset of personal failure and incompetence does not mean that we should stop working for a better system. The fact that redistributive theft is common does not make it right.

So if I tell you that it is morally bankrupt that money be stolen from some to give to others, and you come back with "it is being done right now and will continue", then you have said nothing at all. And you remain an advocate for moral bankruptcy. And that is a fact.

The morally correct way to parent is to pay for your own kids. All expenses. Education, health care, food, housing, all of it. You have no right to steal from others because you need it. And you never will, no matter how common it is or how big a mob you form to make it happen.

Why won't anyone acknowledge this FACT?
Facts and logic don't apply to people responding on emotion/people trying to justify an alternate reality. Save your breathe I'd say as your 100% fact doesn't want to be acknowledged by some.....more time at work, less time with child. Less time at work, more time with child.

Again, you keep missing the point, YOU do not define what is right for others. I get that you THINK you do but that isn't reality.

Also, I know you don't know what the word "fact" means, but your opinion of what is "morally" anything, is inherently subjective and not a "fact". Do you know what subjective means? I can look it up for you if you like. Words have specific meanings that you don't get to change just because you want to.

ROLFMAO

You posted a blog as a scientific article and one that doesn't even provide any links to its sources!

Literally this is the entire reference to the "study"

"A recent study found young children cared for by their mothers did significantly better in developmental tests than those in any other sort of care." No link, no citation, no way to back up its claims. In fact the only person she references who has published material is from the 50s.

I have never seen a source so closely resemble a poster.

By the way, if staying at home to raise your kids is so unimportant, and if it is so peachy to abandon your children to institutional care, they why do we need family leave at all? Just dump your little baby in day care right away and go back to your stupid J.O.B.

The reason that everyone wants long family leave time is because in their heart of hearts they know it is correct and moral and proper and natural to want to be home with your young children to love them and teach them and supervise them FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

So even as they hysterically screech and scream and futilely attempt to defend mom working while the kid is imprisoned in a cold institution where there is no love all day long, they want extended family leave because they know what the right thing is. They know it, but EGO is a powerful force and can make you defend doing the wrong thing because of guilt and shame at your own uselessness. To admit it would be to find fault with yourself, and we know how the left just LOVES to introspect. NOT!!!!

O come on, kids need lots and lots of money and things and trinkets and daycare and parents to have their fulfilling career more than anything, didn't you get the memo?
