It was a really long time ago. I don't remember. They are such a part of my life that it would not occur to me to wish they were not here. The thought is frightening, actually.

Here's my response: I was not apprehensive about having kids, sometimes when they were teenagers I wished I didn't have them but now that they're all grown up and I have a grandchild I'm very glad I had my kids.

Not only was I “not apprehensive”, my husband and I were excited to create a family. That’s quite a negative spin. Been happy about it ever since.

Each and every time, I was thrilled beyond measure to be expecting with my husband, and I still think being a mom in a happy family is the best role in the world, even now that they're almost all out of the nest.

Not apprehensive, and happy I had them.

It was a little bit intimidating once I was pregnant, knowing they would have to come out eventually, but that part was okay too.

From Mr. Randomparent…never questioned whether or not he wanted children, slightly apprehensive about being a good father, extremely happy to have had kids. He also says that you'll know what your children mean to you when you wake up the morning after you've dropped them off at college.
