Go ahead and send your 6-year-old daughter alone into the same bathroom as a biological male who is attracted to females, if you like.
I'm glad people who identify as whatever can do whatever they like. Great. When my son/daughter is older they can pick their gender and orientation. Wonderful.
Meanwhile, while they are a child, I'll escort them at public bathrooms, because the little circles and triangles on the doors are meaningless.
Beach bathrooms. Park bathrooms. Library bathrooms. I don't hang out in them, but vagrant junkies do.
Man, I have never seen that here at any bathrooms at the Library, beach or park. You must be in a place where there are a lot of junkies. That is not the case in most towns. I have never ever seen someone shooting up here (a small city, not a tiny town though).
Any mother or grandmother would be happy to help her out. Too much orneriness going on today to send a little one into the bathroom alone. I have been asked before. Happy to help. Just needed to make sure the stall was clean, there was TP and help wash hands. At school there will only be kids in the bathroom. No telling who you will run into in a public bathroom.
OMG, some of these answers are bonkers! Absolutely send her into the women's bathroom and wait for her, shouting reminders to wash her hands if need be. She is infinitely safer in a women's bathroom, and at 6yo she should definitely be able to go by herself. If she does a bad job cleaning, no biggie: just rectify the situation when you get home.
Do not bring a little girl that age into a men's bathroom. I imagine that if I were a man, I would be uncomfortable with a young girl in there while I was "busy." And if they aren't bothered, I would be even more worried.
So I would assume a warning from the dad standing outside the stall that "I've got my 6 year daughter in here" wouldn't come amiss to a man walking into the men's room at that point.
Except that's not what the poster I replied to said. They think the OP should tell adult men that they are not allowed to use a public restroom while his daughter is in a stall.
But the girl is 6 and should be able to use the woman's restroom on her own just fine (as the OP didn't mention anything about special needs).

Other people needing to use the restroom would be my guess.
my biggest concern is pedophiles or randoms in the restroom. Its comfort. Our girls were extremely uncomfortable without either a parent or a sibling in the public bathroom with them. They wouldn't go if they didn't have a sister in public with them unless my husband escorted them (if there was no other female). Most mens rooms aren't so crowded that it would be a terrible inconvenience to ask the men to wait 1 minute for your daughter to go. Make sure the coast is clear and shuffle her into a stall. Easy.

Biological males who are attracted to females still aren't pedophiles. You're confusing gay males with pedophiles, two entirely different individuals.
And I think it goes without saying you're not sending any child into a bathroom where junkies hang out, lol. Appreciate the laugh though.
I hang out with my 6 yr old few times now one heckling question is I am father and now when she needs rest, I am buffled. Which restroom to take? male or female? Last time, the need arose and that was rude awakening.
6?
Ladies room without you.
She's peeing by herself at school.
