both grandmothers and the teens refused to give the baby up. they all wanted to keep the baby. sometimes i think that is better--maybe they have "learned their lesson", instead of getting rid of the baby and just getting themselves into trouble again.
you never know, there must be some reason this happened at this time of their lives...

It is strange only in the US (or UK) this kind of stuff would hit the news. Everything related to sex scadal to minor having sex wouldn't be something as big aof a deal in other countries like in western Europe.

but not the front page. I lived in France and known people in Holland and Belgium. People have will still have sex early, eventhough they are more educated about it in Europe then here accross the ocean.

Yup, adoption is the best way to go, especially for the baby.

Easy for some to say or think----it's not "our" baby. We don't know the type of home this baby is in--it may be very loving and caring. We just don't know so it's not really that easy to say someone else should give up their child! I'll be honest, I have seen some children more grown up then their parents and more responsible. I'm not saying this is a healthy situation at all, I'm just saying we don't know the whole situation.
