Almost everyone can use a good quality trivet, correct?
Materials:
- One 6-inch square porcelain floor tile. Tile Stores and Big Box stores sell these as samples for customers to validate colors in their home. Cost is around $1 each. The child can select the color and texture of tile for the gift. (Porcelain tiles are far stronger than Ceramic tiles)
- Four 1-inch diameter circular felt feet to protect table surfaces. These may only be sold in packs of 8 or 12.
- One tube of E6000 adhesive. Only four large dabs needed to securely affix feet to bottom of tile. Found in Craft Stores and Craft Section/Hardware Section of other stores.
No need for instructions. Be careful with the adhesive, this step may require adult assistance.
Well, somehow it's a little primitive. Probably, going into the topic, people hope to receive instructions for assembling some interesting crafts.
