YMMV

Emily and Elizabeth never seem to fall out of favor.

Emily is so over-used it's pitiful. Who wants a child named the same as every other child in the same age group.

Nothing like being in class with 4 other kids with the same name. I'd hate that.

Do you have any boy names you are thinking of? In case you do. I like the old fashioned names that have been around for a while and seem to be popular through the years. I Michael, Mathew, Richard, and Steve. My favorite is Steve.

True...Emily was the number one name for years and years. Jessica was a popular name too for many years. The year I named my daughter it, I had never heard anyone with that name and it turned out to be the number one name that year.

well i guess my kid will be one of the unsuccessful (according to NY Times) cause I hate all the simple overused names, that are old enough to be my grandmothers name. I am Not into the margrets or emily's. And i dont think my names sound like someone was on a drug trip either. So hopefully my kid wont hate me for the name we choose....lol.
