OP, of the names you listed, I like Seinna the best. It's pretty and sounds nice with your last name.

Both my girls have uncommon names, but they are spelled typically. (my boys just have common names). I happen to like names that are used only for one gender, just my preference.

That's really funny. I actually know someone whose mother's name is Eula. He tries not to admit it though.

Indigo
Spencer
Sydney
Wren (I know someone who named their daughter Wren)
Saiward Elizabeth (nickname Saird, my niece)

And I still like Lyric

I think I have to say Sienna and Jenica are my votes. I like Landry but I am afraid people would take a quick look at it and think Laundry. i did when I first saw it. You can just have 4 or 5 girls and use all the names lol

We also have a Rowan spelled Rohan he is an absolute treasure of a child extremely cute, well behaved & quiet.
Even if it is common, I still love the name Lilly. I always thought Aurora was a strong yet pretty name.

I have a friend we call Ricki Lee - it's a nickname, though..it's cool. I also have 2 friends and 2 nieces named Kylee all spelled differently, Kylee, Kailee, Kylie & Kiley. I thought that was cool.

Why not a simple name? Is it me, or do these names scream, LOOK AT ME, MY NAME IS DIFFERENT!!!
Look, I am sure that everyone thinks that their kid will so unique that only a unique name will do. Guess what, your kid is not unique. Just name the kid a nice name and move on.

Sorry for the rant, but these made up names are my pet peave.

Sienna Claire W.
Jenica Kate W.
Sienna but I dislike Claire. Sienna Rose is pretty lol

I always liked Danielle. Dana was another name until I was in 10th grade. I met someone named Dana that totally turned me off of the name.

I like the name Sarah, think it's pretty

I have an Amber Rose, I still love the name 16 years later but she hates it for some reason.

You might not know this but there used to be an Amber doll, she was huge, over 24 inches tall. Beautiful doll, curly red hair. When I saw her offered by the collectible doll company, I knew I had to not only have the doll but that was the new name for my kid lol It was unique back then, but apparently others saw that same doll ad and named their kid Amber as well. My exMIL hated the middle name Rose, said it was "too old lady" but as you see from my user name, I love roses... I'm not going to post what she said about the name Amber.

I have a friend that has a unique name and did not give any of her kids something unique. She said that growing up, she missed out on things like personalized pencils & pens, key chains because no one had ever heard of her name. I don't know if she'd appreciate me posting it, but it's pretty much Dell Lynne - although made into one word and spelled differently. We call her Dell, it fits her.

Call me silly but that is one reason why I named my kids fairly common names....because of the cute personalized things you can buy them on trips.

Heres a question for you guys: a guy I know has had his first kid, hes over the moon. Before the kid, he goes on and on about wanting it in his vision. But hes contradicted himself as he has named his daughter in the style of the majority of parents. His vision is null because he did that. It is the 2 name approach - Rebecca Jane, Sophia Elise, etc.

Whats with the 2 name fad? I would have thought that the guys vision would have avoided the modern day cliche?
