I encourage you whether you have an autistic child or not, to read Louder than Words by Jenny McCarthy. I couldn't put the book down. It made me laugh and cry. It was a very powerful book.

In my classroom, I have had the privilege working with students who have had autism and Asperger's. Seeing a student mainstream does wonders for the child and for the other students in the classroom!

I picked up this book because I enjoyed Jenny McCarthy's other "mommy books." It taught me so much of what some of my parents have gone through. Really, though there was a common thread throughout the book,

WE AS PARENTS WILL GO TO ANY LENGTHS FOR OUR KIDS!
