My kids really haven't expressed much in ways of wants this year. If anything they would most likely want some sort of Rock Band or Guitar Hero game and accessories for the Wii. Our youngest would be happy with the Disney Sing It as well for the Wii. They would probably love getting an Itouch or some sort of DSI as well. But like I said they really haven't expressed much wants for any of them but I have seen the way their faces light up when they see one of those things.

The main things they have requested is:

11yo DD would like a remote control car to drive her little squirrel friend around in. (it's one of those half sized TY beanie babies that she became attatched too and takes every where with her and has for the last couple of years.)

9yo. DD just wants to go to the animal shelter for a day to play with the animals or a kitten. (the kitten is out as we already have 3 cats now and don't want anymore for awhile. But I have no problems letting her go and play with the animals at the shelter as the animals would really love it and they could use all the attention they can get.)

13 yo DD hasn't asked for anything.

Even though my kids believe in Santa well at least the 9yo still truely believes, the 13yo figured it out a few years back and the 11yo is questioning it, they never have really asked for big and pricey things. I think the most expensive gifts they ever asked for was an American Girl Doll from one of them and a digital camera for the others. They all got what they asked for. We spent a total of $100 for each of their requested items, but that was all they got from Santa as far as individual gifts. We also recieved a Wii from Santa that was given to the whole family. The rest of their presents that year was mostly clothes and needed items from mom and dad as well as relatives.

She got clothes and money for Hanukkah, and for Christmas she wanted a Zhu Zhu pet (and got it from her aunt), and she wants a compound bow (waiting till after the holidays), and that was about it.

The DS was a huge hit this Christmas, as was the iPod.

For us it was the WiiFit Plus...lots of fun! Oh, and a good old fashioned bicycle that is getting good use.
my 11yr old daughter has a DS which I think I bought two or 3 Christmas's ago? She uses it more than anything she has. It's great for road trips, waiting at the doc's office, etc..
