As I traveled around Pennsylvania some of my very favorite places to visit were places you might want to visit too. Gettysburg...I love Gettysburg it is so full of our Pennsylvania history. If you take one of the tours you are surrounded by tales of the Civil War and all the experiences there. It is an amazing place. Philadelphia....If you take a tour in this city you again will learn of our history and even see the Liberty Bell. Bushkill Falls...If you go during a rainy season you will see some wonderful waterfalls...( best not to go when there has been a dry spell) The Philadelphia Zoo...This zoo is amazing, and quite like the Bronx Zoo in size and quality. Stop there on your way to Philly. Hickory Run State Park...You can swim here, camp here, and visit the Boulder Field. Can you imagine a large field of boulders? Formed thousands of years ago. But, PA. has an enormous amount of parks, so you would be able to find a park no matter in what direction you head. Where do you like to visit the most? What are your favorites?
