I've had the pleasure of meeting all 13M Pennsylvanians, and I assure you, they're not so bad.

Yes, but in every other state except PA, they call him “Mr.” Tibbs.

So I have no dog in this fight, but I have seen this kind of thing play out elsewhere, and in my experience, people who say "People who live in X are the worst!"... as well as people who say "People who live in X are just the most wonderful people!" are both biased and oversimplifying. You've got kind, friendly people everywhere, and you've got difficult, belligerent people everywhere. And I think whether you're the townies or the newcomers, people should just try to live by the Golden Rule.

It's true.

There are some regional characteristics in personality, but they're often overblown. At their core, people are people.
