Hey everyone, For those of you who have relocated to Pensacola, FL how long did it take for you to realize yup or nope this is/not the place for me? I moved from MN to Pensacola and arrived on Friday evening. I can't put my finger on how I feel. It's only been a few days. I am not happy or sad! I don't know if anyone else have felt like this .

Thanks,

LissaF

Glad you made it okay. After spending one full summer, which was this year, I realized that this place it too hot for me. I have read a lot of threads on this forum and the prevailing thought is that proximity to family seems to have the most significant effect on one's feeling or thoughts towards a particular area. I guess I disagree based upon my hate for heat.

Having moved more times than I can remember, I would say it takes a good year until you can feel settled and comfortable in your new surroundings. I usually have "movers remorse" the first few weeks with every move....
