I find one Dolores Wolfe (spelled that exact way) as being born in Rockford, Illinois in 1930. That birth year would have made her age 19 when your Mother was born.
It shows that Dolores parent's as being Lee and Etta Wolfe. She had a younger brother named Beverly.
There is no middle initial indicated.

I am patient though - and spend time looking for people through back doors - so I'd try to find Dolores's brothers to find her. Long shot, but if she remarried, harder to find her.

The birth certificate you now have, confirms that Dolores M. Wolfe was born in 1931 in Delaware, and likely your Grandmother.

Dolores M. Wolfe - daughter age 9.
Father and Mother - Howard J. Wofle age 36 and Mary Wolfe age 31.
Brothers - Howard J. age 15 and William J. age 12. All 5 were born in Delaware.

Dolores would be 81, and 19 when your Mother was born.
Her brother Howard would be age 87 and her brother William would be age 84.

Maybe look for the obituary columns for her parents.
Maybe she attended their funeral. Maybe she did not go, but maybe her brothers did. The obits could still give you some new fact, even if Dolores did not attend.
If one or both of her brothers are deceased, Dolores may have gone to their funeral.

A. The obits of Howard J. Wolfe and Mary Wolfe.
B. Location of Howard J. Wolfe, Jr. and William J. Wolfe (or their obits).

Obits could give what you may need, which is Dolores current married name. It may be Rasure and maybe not, since Rasure side of the family isn't telling you much.

But as hoped the adoptions records gave more details than her middle name:

This is really great news, Tamara.
Don't give up on the DE possibilities - - DE was a "first place to live" area, meaning families who came there stayed for a while before moving on in the 20th century. May be relatives there still, but distant.

William got married in 1952 in DE to Shirley J Waugh
Alice died in 1930 in DE

From that link, Elmer Bodo was born October 21, 1931.
He died September 22, 1999 in Pensacola, Fla.

There is-was a Dolores M. Bodo age 82, in Georgia, if still living.

Elmer's brother died last year and he has several relatives, if no one in the Rasure family has any more details they wish to provide.

IF they stayed together - Dolores & Elmo - I haven't come up with any children for them so far. [another navy guy I see -- :+)]

I "think" they did, but that's just me.

Elmo's father Alexander was born in Hungary. Mom=Ohio.

Dolores's grandfather was John Wolfe, wife Mary Burke.
They had in 1910 4 children - Willard, Howard, Edith & Alice
MIL Susan Lowe lived w/them
In 1920 - same, with addition of BIL Harry Lowe and his daughter Dorothy born abt 1910

I'm pretty sure Howard died in 1979 in Pensacola, FL -- his ss was issued DE and was born 6 Feb 1904.
