Her maiden name was Song Sil Hong but was married to my father Steven Wiltzius and took his last name. This happened in Sheboygan, WI and apparently after their divorce she moved to New York. She is originally from South Korea. Her DOB is July 6th 1958. Any help would be great!
I do have her ssn and it states that its still active so I do not think its the one that passed. The one in Flushing sounds right but when I look on yellow pages the name doesnt match up with the address. Im going to start there. Thank you and you dont know how much you help people.

No one by the name of Hong has owned that single family dwelling in Flushing since about 1970.
If she lived there then she was married to the owner and it as in his name, or she was just a tenant.

I don't, I'm sorry. Sometimes it's difficult to tell from what year exactly the info was from. (I'm also a new researcher and am still learning how to use all the tools...).
It just says "U.S. Public Records Index, Volume 2, 1950-1993"

Did your mom go to Univ of CA Berkely and study civil engineering? I found a photo of a Susan S Hong with that info, but it's from 1979. If that is your mom I can post the photo. (If it isn't, I didn't want to post some strange unrelated person's photo. )
