This may sound crazy to some but I feel strongly about this. In recent years I've felt that maybe there is a person searching for there biological father and it could be me. Back in 1980 I met a woman in Fort Jackson, SC and we had a one night stand. She did contact me and said she was pregnant and believed the child was mine. I was in the Army myself stationed in Germany. I received another letter from her saying she had fallen down stairs and had lost the child. If this is true then this will go nowhere but I can't help thinking they maybe she was lying about the child passing. I was 20 years old at the time and not ready for a child, I say this with shame. Today I have two children and two Grandchildren that I could not imagine living without. Unfortunately I don't remember her name and I can't imagine she remembers mine. I've read stories of children searching for their biological father and their mother will not talk to them about it. This is why I am reaching out just in case you are looking and have no assistance. I am 53 years old and I served in the Army from 1978-1981 in Germany.
I'm reading your post and your story is similar to mine.
i am a daughter who is searching for her father. Only I was born in 1989.
I just wanted to say to you that you don't have to be ashamed. It's never to late to catch up.
I hope that if you have another son or daughter, that you will find eachother.
I think it's very brave of you to do this, hope mine dad will do so as well.
