Thank you to everyone from
my other thread regarding my grandfather. I sent him a letter today and I will update everyone (on that thread) if/when I hear back.
I have one more person to look for - my father. Or, namely, his relatives.
As short as I possibly can:
I never knew who my dad was, I just had a picture of him and a story to go with it. Long story short, the man on my birth certificate contacted me last year and we've been having a good relationship. He is an ethnically dark Latin American man.
I did 23andme recently and I was extremely stunned to find I'm 95% white European and 5% Jewish. I was stunned because this means that this man could not be my father (I even have olive skin). I talked to my mother about it. She said that there is 1 other man who it could be. His name is Thomas Endrihs. However, my mother said that he died in 1995 when I was 5 years old due to a fatal automobile accident.
I found this with a quick search, which confirms it.
So -- I'd like to know if there's any information for any possible on any surviving relatives of his - mother, father, brother, sister. I'd like to make contact with the family and see if they remember my mother or would even be willing to do a DNA test. I'm tired of not knowing half of who I am. I'm tired of the lies, I'm tired of searching, I'm tired of
not knowing.
I was going to hire a private investigator to find both my father (and my half brother once he comes of age) but if anyone could offer any tips or clues about where I could go to do this without hiring a PI, I will be forever gracious and invite you to my wedding next year and make you amazing homemade cupcakes from scratch. Seriously, my cupcakes rock.
Everything I know about him is in the link I posted above. My mother confirmed she knows no other information because he was a just a guy she paled around with and wasn't that close with to begin with.
Thank you in advance for any assistance. I promise not to disappear this time -- I had a lot of things going on at once before, but I'm finally starting to take a breather.
