Thank you for asking. No new information to date. I emailed the person at NAMUS again to see if there has been any progress there. And with the news out of Allenstown today, it's back in the front of my mind.

Is NamUs trying to figure out if your Cynthia is the one in NC that passed years ago or are you trying to get the answer? I personally would hire an attorney to do that. You should have had an answer months ago.

I do not think your Cynthia is the Allenstown woman. I never would have suggested her for her because there's no way Cynthia had a child 9 to 10 years old if missing since 74. I've been out all day so have not seen the new info. I've read some of it.

I have to run errands but want to post the Allenstown case timeline for the man responsible for their murder. With what I'm reading, I believe they were killed about 1980

AG: Man who killed woman, 3 children in Allenstown also killed missing Manchester woman - updated: Jan 26, 2017 - 7:01 PM

CASE CONNECTIONS

Evans married in California 2002 and pleaded guilty to killing his wife (see timeline below). The four Allenstown victims and Evans' wife all died of blunt force trauma. Evans' wife and the oldest child in the Allenstown murders were both dismembered.
The Allenstown victims were wrapped in material and electrical wire. Evans worked in Manchester mills (1977) as a mechanic and electrician. According to Mike Kokoski of New Hampshire State Police, the wire used on the Allenstown bodies came from Carol Cable, where Denise Beaudin worked.
Evans worked at Bear Brooks Store, which is located on the property where the Allenstown victims were found. Investigators believe that the barrels containing the bodies likely came from the mill where Evans worked.

Case timeline: Man known as Bob Evans connected to 6 killings - Evans may be responsible for more deaths, police say - By KC Downey - Updated: 3:55 PM EST Jan 26, 2017

Evans' real name and birth date are not known.

1977 - Bob Evans works at Waumbec Mill as head electrician.

1980 - February - Evans was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire, as Robert T. Evans for issuing a bad check on Dec. 21, 1979 (insufficient funds).

May - Evans was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire, as Robert T. Evans for theft of services (electricity).

October - Evans was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire, as Robert T. Evans for diverting electric current.

1981 - November - Evans and his girlfriend Denise Beaudin go missing shortly after Thanksgiving with Beaudin's 6-month-old daughter.

1984 - March - Evans was hired under name Curtis Kimball by electrical company in Los Alamitos, California.

1985 - May - Evans was arrested in Cypress, California, as Curtis Mayo Kimball for DUI.

November - First barrel found at Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, New Hampshire. The barrel contained an unidentified adult female (approximately 23-33 years old) and a female child (5-11 years old).

1986 - January - Evans was in Santa Cruz County, California, living and working at the Holiday Host RV Park in Scotts Valley under the name Gordon Jenson.

June - Evans abandoned Denise Beaudin’s daughter in California and fled.

September - A fingerprints match between Gordon Jenson and Curtis Kimball was made, confirming they were the same person (the man known as Bob Evans).

1988 - November - Bob Evans was pulled over in San Luis Obispo, California, under the name Gerry Mockerman. He was driving a vehicle stolen from Preston, Idaho.

Timeline of events leading to the identification of NH serial killer Bob Evans - By: Katie Schulz - posted 22 hours ago
TIMELINE OF EVENTS

In the late 1970's, Evans arrived here in New Hampshire. He resided at 925 Hayward St. in Manchester.

In 1980, Evans was arrested in February and June and listed his spouse as Elizabeth Evans, though authorities do not know who that is. In October of the same year, Evans was arrested again, and did not list a spouse.

Evans and Beaudin disappeared together in 1981, but no missing persons report was ever filed with authorities. The couple disappeared with their daughter, then known as "Dawn", but Evans later gave the daughter, now known as "Lisa", up for adoption.

In 1984 and 1985, Evans changed his name to Curtis Kimball. In 1985, Evans was arrested for drunk driving in California. He had "Lisa" with him at the time. Around June or July of that year, Evans abandoned "Lisa" at a trailer park in Scott's Valley, California. The girl was placed into foster care and later adopted.

In 1985, two unidentified bodies were found in a barrel in rural Allenstown by Bear Brook State Park. One was an adult woman and the other was a young girl.

In 1986, when California went to investigate Evans for abandoning his child, he was no longer in the Santa Cruz area.

In September of 1986, Investigators confirmed a latent fingerprint match between Gordon Jenson (Jensen) and print obtained from individual arrested as Curtis Mayo Kimball in 1985.

In October of 1986, felony arrest warrants were put out for one of Evans' aliases: Gordon Curtis Jenson.

In the press conference they said they lost track of Evans for about two years. They don't have any investigative information about his whereabouts during time period.

In 1988, Evans was arrested in San Luis Obispo, California for vehicle theft. This time, his alias was Gerry Mockerman. The car was stolen out of Idaho, confirming he spent some time in that area.

In March of 1989, Evans was arrested on warrants out of Santa Cruz, under the alias of Gerry Mockerman.

In October of 1990, Evans made parole after serving about 18 months of his three year sentence and took off the next day and wasn't seen for a period of time.

Officials lost track of his whereabouts for a block of time and were unsure of where he was during this time frame - Evans was then a fugitive for 12 years.

In 2000, two more young girl's bodies were found in another barrel within walking distance. The older woman was discovered to be related to the oldest and the youngest child, but not the middle child.

Am sending mamajenp a DM to see if there's any confirmation that it was Cynthia. Someone saw the thread here and emailed me to ask.

SS#'s were given when a person worked, not given when born like now. That is a fairly new process. I got mine back around 1980 after I got my working papers at high school (age 15). You needed one to get paid by the employer. They gave me the SS form when I had my son in 1985, that was the 1st time I had seen it given at birth. I do not think it was mandatory though. When I had my daughter in 1993 I think it had to be mailed within 30 days of birth. Now you have to hand it in at the hospital before you leave. I wonder what laws are with home births lol
