Hello everybody,
I am Italian, i'm living in ROME - and I would like to find some members of my family in the US. My grandfather's brother NATALE DESANTIS (born 1888 -GRECCIO -Rieti -Italy) has emigrated in ROSETO -PA from ITALY in 09 august 1906
Ship travel: Nord America
I'm sure that my cusins living in ROSETO - PA
Thank for your help.
Contact the Clerks office in the town of Roseto PA - they should have public records of the cousins who live there. If you do a google search for that town, there will be contact numbers and email for the clerks office, chamber of commerce, etc.
Tell them what you have told us and you may have some luck. If they drive, own a home, etc. - there will be a puclic record. I do not know if charges appy for the info - most times only if you request paper copies - but it is worth a shot.
You can also try writing a letter to the editor in the local newspapers. I did this because I wasn't sure of the surname would still be the same for distant cousins. Within a week of the letter running, I had numerous 2nd and 3rd cousins contact me. Good luck.
