I am helping a friend look for "Evelyn Lark," who gave birth to a baby boy in Chicago in 1943. She would probably be in her mid eighties, if still living.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your reply. I don't think this is the "Evelyn Lark" we are looking for due to a couple of reasons, but I'm going to check it out anyway. You never know! (We're not sure that Evelyn even lived in Illinois - just that she came to a Chicago orphanage to give birth.) Thanks

You are searching for the birth mother of my father TD. At this point, we (siblings and I) believe the birth mother to be Evelyn Brand (born Lorkowski (Lark)), 1924 - 1992 whom also bears a striking resemblance to TD and who's age fits the age of his birth mother at the time.
