Looks like it will help, Eviction are all ready reported, but Not Ontime payment. So it should help (as long as you pay ontime...).

It will help thsoe who actaully pay and hurt those who don't. Its like so mnay of the consumer protection ;the real result is elimnate the cost of those who assume debt and then don't pay it by leesning the risk and not driving up prices to make up for the losses.

I think it's a good thing. For many people, rent is the biggest regular expense. It ought to count for something.

I noticed, though, that it only counts if the landlord reports it.

Yes, which means it will most likely only be reported when "bad" things happen. I get a little worried about this, pretty soon people won't have the opportunity to "turn over a new leaf", what do we do with all these people who can't even rent a dwelling?
