Hello,

I just paid off my chapter 13. The case was "closed" as of April 1st. I received the Notice of Completion last Friday and did the credit counseling course that night.

I think the only thing left is for the court to stamp the papers now that I am discharged. Is that correct? If so, how long do they usually take to do that?

Thanks,
Leapa

Being a debtor, you're supposed to get discharged within 30 to 60 days once your plan gets paid off. Under certain circumstances, a chapter 13 discharge is even issued before the plan gets paid under 11 U.S.C. 1328(b).
