I would think that the education level of the posters would give you a better picture of the visitors than the financial level.

Money in the bank doesn't really indicate a thing except that you make more than you spend.

Well, a lot of people use this forum to talk about investments and such...It would be nice to see how successful they are.

So far... there looks to be a really big income gap!

'Household income', and 'money-in-the-bank' are entirely different things.

Neither of which are related to Worth.

Level of education is an interesting scale, however it rarely corresponds to either: accumulated life-time Net Worth, or to earning potential.

Money earned through own efforts, or money earned through inheritance?

Statistically speaking, affluence through inheritance amounts to about 4% of affluence in America.

I don't think the education level is a the total measure of economic success. Though t will have at least some effect on most people. I known plenty of my college classmates that are either had to struggle for awhile to build themselves up from the bottom and make crap money and have crap hours in order to move up the chain. Even then downsizing/out sourcing of companies put some of them out of work and they either had to find new jobs and start all over again or take on another career that just didn't pay all that much. I personally am not making as much money as I did a year ago because I'd decided to change careers from the financial work to the medical work. I still in the process of being retrained for the new career so I not making all that much right now. Of course in 2 years time I probably me making as much if not more than I have in the past and I will find the more personally satisfying.

Sorry, I misinterpreted the OP post. I thought he/she wanted to get a better picture of the posters on the forum.

I still think that education would give a far better idea about what the people are rather than financial means.

After all, high school dropout that is involved in the drug trade will have much more money than many of us will ever see. While I doubt that he would be posting here, His range of income wouldn't tell any more about him that it does for the other posters.

However, my mistake, carry on with the importance of money!

Before taxes, it's $173,000. Amazing how fast that can disappear, too.
