I Just found a $9.95 charge on my BoA checking acct statement. It says online banking Quicken. I have had online banking for a good 8 years and never had this charge. What I did do recently is buy a new laptop just 2 weeks ago. I noticed when I tried to sign on to my online banking as I normally would. This Quicken completely took over no matter what BofA site I logged into. Did I somehow get overtaken by Quicken and not know it. It appear I did with the charge on my bank statement. What do I do. I'm not all that good with figuring out computers and how they constantly change. Thank you I could use some help. I don't need this added charge every month, since I just started Social Security.

Why not call Bank of America and find out where the charge came from? Intuit makes Quicken, so you could also call them and find out.

I went to the BofA today. They took the charge off and listed it as fraud. I don't know if I answered a popup that triggered this problem or what happened. All I know is I did everything the same that day but it was on a new computer. The result is Quicken which I am not familiar with, took over my online banking. BofA told me today to only use the www.bankofAmerica site and nothing else. Not to use the search engine again to look up online banking.

Thanks for your help.
