You're welcome, although I want to emphasize that these are all my personal opinions based on my own perspective and experience.

When you ask about portfolio size, which particular "accomplishment" are you referring to? If you're talking about splitting retirement between New York and Los Angeles, there's still a pretty big range depending on lifestyle, particular living arrangements (neighborhood, rent vs. own, etc.) and current situation (if you already own in either place, that's a big head start).
