I just found out my insurance premium is $200 per month more than I budgeted. I am so angry right now. How am I going to every get ahead? I am contemplating looking for a second job. This really sucks.
Medical: $797.03/month COBRA for a real Cadillac zero deductible PPO plan
Dental: None.
For me, dental is a hygienist a couple times per year.
Dental has always been so affordable at all of the five jobs I've had in my working life that I could never imagine going without it. Right now I pay $12/mo or $144 a year and that is the most I've ever paid for dental coverage. Cleanings would run about $75 each I'd assume? That would be my yearly premium right there.
My employer is 100% transparent to the total premium cost and the full employee and employer share is $31. I even find that affordable if you ever have a dental emergency. It's a small price to pay for a $1500 root canal and crown procedure when you least expect it.

Thanks to the ACA, group health insurance has been steady decreasing. For 2017, I'm now paying just about $1,400 a month for each covered employee. This includes a $750 deductible, PPO, no co-insurance split, no co-pay, with dental, vision, and wellness. This does include applying our overcharge rebate credit back to the plan through an employee premium reduction.

When we had dental insurance, they'd only pay 50% of root canals and crowns. You must have a very good plan.
I pay $36.45 per week. $145.80 per month, $182.25 if it is a 5-paycheck month (I get paid every Thursday).
