I received a letter in the mail from my job stating that CIR has persued a garnishment against me from a Ford Motor Company from earlier 2000 late 90's. i couldnt believe when I went online and pulled up the court case it was dating back from 2001 and the judge allowed this judgement. I was updated last yr in June 2011 WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE! Even the address on the doc were wrong my name was misspelled and the all of this was to my surprise! Now I have to take off work because I dont even live where the judgement was placed the document has dates thats been wiped out and dates from last yr this is the first time that im seeing these documents. I hope this nightmare goes away fast rent is due and Im not sure if they are already attachint my check! Ive contacted the sherriff office and to my surprise he gave me some good sound advise and to go down there and file something to find me some time to fight back! I didnt see what the breakdown was on the debt just a whopping 7400.00! ARe you serious! this is double the amount without any documents backing up this judgement
Im like arrrgggg. but I contacted a lawyer and they said they will rep for free and if im in favor they will sue CIR.
