WOW #1 mistake, your responded to SPAM "I got an email........ yada yada yady........"

#2 you signed something that you clearly did not understand, did you even try, or was that $1500 already burning a hole in your pocket.

Do you even know now what you spent the money on?

Fraud requires intent to commit fraud -- that does not appear to be the case, here. This is just a way of stopping the payment process -- more a breach of contract.

Generally checks are only good for limited periods, anyway. From what I follow, this OP may not have written a starting check, or if they did, it was months ago? Checks are generally refused for payment by banks somewhere between 90 days and six months old, anyway.

At any rate, after a closed account, the payee has to make a written demand for payment -- for the amount of the check. The OP can trade payment for the check (only) not for the additional charges. If the loan shark refuses payment for that check, the OP can present that to the court and likely the case will be dismissed.

The additional charges would be a breach of contract (a civil court matter, not criminal -- like fraud or a bad check). The loan shark is not likely to sue, and even less like to win in a civil matter.

Well, you're getting exactly what you signed up to get. Did you think money is free and grows on trees? Did you not think when you signed those contracts?

Sorry, got no sympathy for you because you put yourself into this mess. Get a job, get a second job, man up and tough it out.

I had the same problem and I used a company called RELIEF, LLC Relief LLC- The Debt Solution Company specializing in Payday Loans - Get out of payday loan debt, settle your debt, payday loan help . They set me up with a once a month cheaper payment to pay them all off in 12 months, and they charge less than what I was paying every month in interest to the bloodsucker payday loans!! ony thing was that i had to close my bank account and reopen a new one, but it was the only way to keep the payday loans from taking any more money.

Forget Vito he'll cut off your pecans for being 1 day late, go to Vinny or Monte down at the pool hall.
Sorry but I have zip zero empathy.
Don't spend money you don't have. I only borrow money when I am certain that the money I borrow is going to make me a lot more than the cost of the loan. I don't even have any credit cards and I don't own stocks, just good old fashoned dirt, money making dirt !

Well, the next paycheck they only took out 90 dollars. They started to just take out 90 dollars every pay, and I thought they were just taking 90 out every two weeks until I paid off my 500 and then I would be done. Well this went on for about a year. I started to get concerened. Then I called and found out that whole time I was just renewing the loan. I needed 590 to pay it completely off!

I then got a new payday loan so I could pay that one off. Well then that one started to take its toll. During this time I needed to get another because the one I had was taking all of my extra spending cash. Put it this way. Two months later, I got even two more to help keep up with those original two. What do I do? Can I file bankruptsy! Next time I get paid I am going to have pretty much my whole paycheck being just consumed by these payday loans being renewed. I can't pay them off. This sucks I can't work possibly anymore.

You've heard of the saying "do it once, shame on you, do it twice, shame on me"?? I can't believe you did it FOUR times Did you really think it was going to get BETTER?

I do debt counseling for a local non-profit and have come across this before - internet payday loans... the worst! They take you for a ride and then some. Hopefully you have learned your lesson. In the meantime, try to get the money elsewhere and pay it off in one chunk, and pay that other party an acceptable interest rate. Do you at least have some collateral? Do you own anything to secure the loan you'd be getting?

First begin by finding out if pay day loans are legal in your state, then take it from there. Helpful link:

PayDay Loan Consumer Information (http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/states.cfm - broken link)

I'd recommend Guito, but either will treat you as fairly as these payday loan sharks.

What is hell is wrong with our legislatures that they simply refuse to outlaw the predatory practices of these businesses.
