????

I have good credit that is 4 years established. never late on a payment. I have 2 credit cards. my checking account hovers between $300-800. And I have a savings account with around $500 in it.

Could i get a personal loan for 3-4 thousand dollars? Something suddenly came up. How would i go about doing this?

Probably, it would be an unsecured personal loan typically, so the interest rate will be higher. If you are eligible for or belong to a credit union you probably can just go in and get it after a couple hours processing.

Apply for the loan online it is easy and simple. The bank should get back to you in less than 36 hours, some banks will let you know right away if you are eligible when you apply online. Good luck.

You need to simply go into the bank, and talk with a personal loan officer.

The problem you're likely to run into is that (as I understand it) you're looking for an unsecured loan, and those are a hard sell - especially these days.

I really dont even care about what the interest rate is (within reason).

Is there anything in particular which i should bring along with me? Should i go to Capital one bank which is one of the companys i have a credit card with, or should i go to TD Bank where i have my checking and savings accounts?

I don't think it's too easy to get an unsecured loan. You're better off to put it on your credit cards.
