Hi, does anyone know anything about BideAWee? Do they do good screening for adoption? Thanks.

Never heard of them. What city /state are they in? I may know other rescues that have worked with them.

I think they're in NYC. We got a dog from there once.

EDIT: Well then I must know they're in NYC.

I meant to say that they might be elsewhere as well ~

They're also in Westhampton, LI, I believe they used to be in Wantagh as well (possibly still are). Would call or email for specific info re adopting.

My family adopted a dog from the Wantaugh place back in the early sixties it must have been. We had just brought our old dog there to be buried since it wasn't legal to do so in our suburban tract.

No idea what they are like today.

Our first family dog when I was a kid came from there too in the late 50's. Have been away from LI for a long time but thought they may have closed. I vaguely rem. it (the grounds) being a big place but I was a young kid then and what looked big then probably isn't any more. Oh well...
