I recently came across this pet food company, Onesta Organics. We have ordered some of their products for our guinea pigs and dogs. It's all humangrade, and certified organic, and dehydrated. They add no chemicals and there are no byproducts or meals or whatsoever, just real food ingredients. The "dog treats (they are approved by the Animal Wellness magazine!) are wheat and gluten free and are also free of soy, corn, and rice. All our dogs and GPs love their new foods - there are still some smaller fights when we serve these treats but I just prepare enough pieces so they all get their food fast! I didn't see these products in stores yet but hope that they will become more widely available soon. Until then, I'll order online (
