Have you ever or would you ever date or marry someone who openly disliked or even hated your pet? Did you dump the pet or the person?
A pet is a family member. It is like someone who doesn't like your child or even your parents. If I were single and there was a choice, the pet stays. There will always be others who love pets. When you get a great pet, that's a rarity. I would never settle for someone who didn't like Snowy.

Hell no! My birds are my buddies!!! We're a flock. Anybody who would try to come between me and my birds had better think about flying the coop!!!

I cant, I love animals too much- I want to own alot of acres of land and build a huge estate and buy all the animals that are about to be euthanized at shelters so they can have a second chance

Well, if I hated someone's dog, I probably would not want to marry them either.

In fact, I would not even date them.

No, I wouldn't consider it. My pets are a big part of who I am. Luckily, I've found someone who feels the same way about animals that I do.

This is what I dont get. I love my dogs, but that isn't not on the same level as my child. When people say my dog is like my child, Im sorry but I don't understand that. Your child is a part of you where as a dog or cat isnt. Again I love my dogs but that could never be on the same level as my child or wife.

My dog is the closest thing to a kid that I'll ever have and I'm quite happy that way.
