Hi Stephanie, did you find your camera? I also lost my camera last night (8/7/10) in a Philadelphia cab. I've tried calling cab companies but no luck yet. Did you have luck with anything?

Hi Alex. I wish I could give you some good news, but my camera seems gone for good. There are just too many crooked people out there I guess. I really put a lot of work into finding the camera, but no luck. I hope you can get yours back. Did you pay the cab with a credit card, or get a receipt?
My husband and I went out on Sunday and purchased another camera. He is considering the situation a life lesson.

hate to say it, but i think your cameras are gone
too bad you didn't lose your cell phone with the camera. then someone could have called you
. i think i've left my cell phone in a cab over 10 times both here and in nyc and i've always gotten it back.

I 'm going to guess it is gone for good.
I left my phone in a Philly cab back in May, and when I talked to the woman at the PPA, she said that often the cab drivers say they haven't found anything, and sometimes it will later turn out that they had found it
I never got my phone back, but I hope y'all have better luck! Here's the link to the PPA person I called.
