Which Schools in Philly are the best and the worst, crime wise and educational wise. If you have a list of the best / worst that would be great. Pictures would be good aswell. I have friends moving into the city near me but not at my school. I don't know yet if they are going to public or private so give me both if you can, thanks.

Well, I worked in the public school system. As for the best-I sure didn't work there. Go online and check out the school grades. See who can actually pass some tests.

I was thinking the same thing. OP, are you moving? Why all the posts about listing schools, gang areas, racial demographics? If you want to compare schools just go to
Schools, High School, Public Schools, School District, Public High Schools - SchoolMatters and plug in the potential schools. If you are from Philadelphia then you could probably answer these questions yourself. Or perhaps I'm just reacting to your screen name.

Thanks. My younger brother who is about 14 is aready skipping school and hanging out on the streets untill 3:00 p.m. I just want him in a good school and to stay there.
