I took a walk with this lady last night to Penn's Landing and I just couldn't believe it. Its very Dark along the walk way and while were sitting under trees having a nice conversation, there are kids running around playing hide and seek.

Not the place I discovered in 1996. Or should I be openminded and believe it only looks like that on a Saturday Night?

I don't remember it looking particularly good in 1996 either!

I can't imagine Penn's Landing ever being nice. From the little bit I know about it, it's been one failure after another in planning it.

Did you check out the Race Street Pier? Just opened and it's pretty nice, compared to the rest of the waterfront.

The Schuylkill Riverfront is much nicer if you need the water. But I prefer the many parks around Center City.

It used to be at NIGHT with the moon shinning off the water real bright along with the other lights. Now it's just a Dark playground for ghetto kids

not for nothing because I met some girls down in that area in '97 .... but I wouldn't even call it romantic back then .... just a place to kind of drink and hangout .... was always a little seedy at night back then as well
