We are looking into relocating to the Philly area from California. We would like to live in a "newer" home that is less than 5 yrs old. I was wondering if these communities exist and where are they? We don't want to have to do a lot of work on a house. Maybe we could find a remodeled home. Thanks in advance for the help>

Hi, I live in the suburbs - but its a pretty wide area to look outside Philly. Any idea what county you want to live in? I live in Chester county in a small town called Sadsburyville. We are planning on putting our 4 bd 3 bth house for sale very soon it is 3 1/2 yrs old. It all depends on what kind of area you are looking for. Best of luck!

You're looking at literally hundreds of possibilities. Do you want to live in the PA (Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks and Philadelphia counties), Jersey (Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington counties) or Delaware (New Castle County) suburbs? How close do you want to be to the city?
What is your price range? What kind of community are you looking for -- larger, smaller?

Here is a website that can give you a better idea on your relocation prospects in the Philly area:

It would depend on your price range. You can search the public version of the MLS on my website: Princeton Area Real Estate -Mercer County NJ Real Estate -Lawrenceville Real Estate. (I'm in Bucks County and NJ) but you can search all over PA.
