Hi,
My husband and I have been living in Philly for about 5 months and are looking to move to the suburbs after our current lease is up. An easy, short commute to the Hospital at the Univ. of Penn is our top requirement. Additionally our other requirements would be somewhere affordable, safe and not congested. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

you could try City Line ave or Ardmore, its a 20 min commute to center city.

West Mt. Airy is very nice. About 20-25 minutes to HUP.

Havertown is a good option too. However, there is traffic congestion since it's a closer ring suburb to Phila. Even Ardmore/City Ave. area will have some congestion.
But you will be close to HUP.
