I have a friend coming into town this weekend and prefer to enjoy the weather by eating outside. Thanks

Haven't you ever gone to Market St/Chestnut St/2nd/3rd? Pick just about anything there. The outside bar/restaurant at the Hotel Monoco, at 5th and Chestnut, across from Independence Hall. I like Fork,in the 300 block of Market, but there is no outside seating unless it's changed.

Are you actually going to eat at a non-chain restaurant?

Of course if I'm treating someone to dinner.

*Applause*!

Cuba Libre has outdoor seating. If it's a lady friend visiting, it's a romantic spot, too. But I thought the weather was supposed to turn a little colder this weekend. I'm hoping not - I want to do a picnic on Saturday.

Cuba Libre is on 2nd Street between Market and Chestnut. Great food, great mojitos, great decor.

What's the name of the place on the corner of second and market with the option to eat outside on the balcony?
