Because it's almost futile. SEPTA and Bucks County were both behind extending the R8 Fox Chase Line back to Newtown, but MontCo stopped it. There was support for Schuylkill Valley Metro, but it was shut down due to tolling on U.S. 422. To be honest, I'm glad that at least Act 89 was passed. I saw the map of the system that SEPTA was going to create without funding, and it was downright scary. I can take the Media/Elwyn Line into Philly at Elwyn or the Wilmington/Newark Line at Chester, but both lines would have been shut down without Act 89. I would have had to go all the way out to Villanova (I could take the Blue Route to U.S. 30) just to catch a Regional Rail line since this would be the only line left in Delco.

Let's hope that's not going to happen.

The more I read everybody's conversation, the more I am worried how that weekend will be. Too many people in the area. Thinking about it make me nervous already.
I am glad I am not going to be in Philly.
By the time this happens, I will be in the Lehigh Valley at college. I will buy Pope Passes, but it's looking more and more unlikely that I will be able to attend. I will have to leave that Friday night, wake up early Saturday morning and get my mom to drop me off either at Media or Marcus Hook, and then go back up that Sunday night. I want to see history being made, but the logistics are difficult.
