Housing Market Slow (Norristown: for sale, real estate, townhouse)

I currently have a townhouse for sale in Norristown and it isn't doing well with Views on MLS, Trulia, Zillow, Realtor, etc.

Additionally, no showings have been booked over the few weeks it has been on the market. This is a far cry from last year when the house was listed about the same time of the year. We had constant showings and lots of interest. Unfortunately, we didn't sell and rented it out, but the feedback about the house and price were positive. Is is a great house (6 years old) in a good location in Norristown, so we aren't sure what is driving this.

My real estate agent is kind of surprised as well with the "lack of interest" this year and we'll be looking at ways to improve our situation (open houses, price drops, local advertising).

Just seems odd to have a complete 180 for interest, in just a year, even with the interest rates incresing. I was just wondering if people are experiencing this as well, and if so, is it specific to Norristown or is the entire housing market in the Philly area slowing down??

Any information that anyone can offer, will be greatly appreciated.

It may be more of a Norristown issue.
