I'm in the process of planning a move, likely to Delaware county, and public school system will be a primary factor. I was researching Rose Tree Media when I found the following on their Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_T...chool_District

Quote:
The superintendent has been recently under fire after personnel moves that include the firing of a beloved elementary school principal and the hiring of a middle school principal who later admitted to child pornography charges. A petition to remove him has garnered hundreds of signatures and there were dozens of calls for his departure at a recent board meeting. Other administrators of the district have also been under fire, like Human Resources Director, Anne Callahan, who announced she is stepping down.
Can anyone provide any color? I'm particularly concerned with the latter part beginning with "school board has been blamed for not representing the taxpayers". I'm already trying to leave NJ with high property taxes and a $#!% school system to show for it. Am I in for the same?

Sounds like there are a few sides to that story. Superintendent is on shaky ground - philly-archives I wouldn't let it affect my decision. It's a great school district and a very nice place to live.

I agree. Media is a great town and Rosetree Media is a very good school district.
