Anyone have any info on the strike and what's going to happen? How is it going to affect commuters to from 30th street to NY Penn station taking the Septa R7/NJ transit route on the Northeast Corridor?

I believe the parties reached an agreement in principle within the last week or so. Unless the agreement just fell apart today, I would say that you have no worries.

FWIW, if there ever was an Amtrak strike, it would shut down both the SEPTA R7 and NJ Transit NEC Line because Amtrak does the train dispatching for both lines.
