So I found a house in Marconi Plaza neighborhood that I really like. It has everything that I'm looking for with the location, proximity to subway and greenery, etc

However, I am not very familiar with the demographics of the area. I have been told that that neighborhood could get awfully close minded about non-white folks. Is that true? Is there anything that you guys could tell me about how it would be for non-White folks to be living in the largely Italian section of South Philly?

Even on City-Data demographics charts, I saw that the blocks on and around which this house is situated consistently has 90%+ white folks

I'm not new to the US and I can easily get along with people of all backgrounds but I'm just wondering if my neighbors will be unfriendly towards me just because of my skin color?

P.S.: I tried to make this post sound as unoffensive as possible while trying to confirm or dispel things I've heard. Thanks in advance for your answers!
