Hi,

I am sure this is asked before but I am new to this forum and could not find the answers. So here is my story

I work for a consulting firm and have my client split located at Warren NJ and Philadelphia. I am considering a move to either NJ or Philly but want to make a decision based on good data points. The move is 2-3 months away as I want to put this on my employers radar but only after I have done enough research.

We are a family of 2 school going kids. My job lets me work from home for most days so I dont mind 40 mile commute on each side (to warren or to philly) as we know I wont have to travel for more than 2 weeks in a month.

Our order of priority:
1. Good school districts
2. Plan to buy a house under 400K
3. Some dope on income tax
4. We don't mind country living with acerage if we can get that in our budget.
5. Access to interstates

give us all you can, I have always used all sorts of forums for personal as well as professional gains as I believe there is no alternative to collective wisdom

You said clients were split between NJ/Philly but then said you were considering a move to either NJ or Philly, so I'm guessing you want a mid-point suggestion. Yardley, NJ area might be a good fit, location-wise. Good access to I95 (for Philly), and US206 (for Warren; take 206 to I287, I78 - there may be a better, more direct way). Schools are good. Don't know about their real estate or local taxes.
