I saw the shortest fattest mustachioed cop roll to the doorstep of a convenience store on a Segway the other day. I thought it was a SNL skit, so I looked around for cameras. He was over-confident and telling people what to do. I had to hold myself back from laughing right at him.

Mte. How do they allow it? The head of the police union is huge. Why is that acceptable?

I remember the influx of short, fat, 'urban' types 25-30 years ago when they decided to make the force look like the general population. It's was common knowledge that many of them took the job to get off welfare and for the benefits, not for the love of police work. I had one cop (a black guy) tell me the one wouldn't get out of the car to pursue a suspect because she "had kids (I'm spelling it nicely)." He told her "I have kids, too! Lets go!" He said it was a nightmare.
The problem, imo, with some of women cops(too many of them are fat too) is being short. Bringing a grown man down? Grab their "equipment" hard. Probably illegal for cops to do that, though.

Great. And why don't we see them on the job? I ride septa every single day. Mornings. Afternoons. Evenings. Sometimes late at night. I rarely see them. And now that school is out it's rarer.

Remember about a year or two ago when the cop grabbed the aggressive, oversized teen by his 'junk,' bruising him? Major story, major trouble for the cop.

Don't ya love it? I remember years ago in Boston, noticing how tall every cop was. I'm wondering if they had a height requirement?

Some areas have, or at least had, a height requirement.
